ANALYSIS:
West Tigers host Canterbury Bulldogs.
Tigers need to win by +10 to stay in 1st and I think they’d want to knowing this was their first ever time in franchise history on top of the ladder. I also feel the Tigers will be lucky to win just 1 of their next 4 matches after tomorrow and the Tigers would know a tough month lies ahead and would be desperate to secure this win. The Dogs have had a complete reshuffle, making a bunch of changes but I can’t see it making it a difference… basically swapping chairs on the Titanic. Perfect weather and the Tigers playing at home out in the suburbs, look for Farah and Marshall to have another field day.
Tigers points for/against: 54/12
Bulldogs points for/against: 22/76
Warriors beat the bulldogs 40-6 & the Tigers beat the Warriors 34-6, this Could be ugly for the Doggies.
South Sydney Rabbitohs host Gold Coast Titans. Titans have been the biggest disappointment so far in 2019, but to be fair they’ve been smashed by injuries and until Ash Taylor gets back they just shouldn’t be able to compete with anyone unfortunately. Think it’s fair to say Bunnies look like the strongest team in the competition, coming from behind at half time to beat both the Roosters and the Dragons. Greg Inglis looks likely to miss this match, but that will only bring Corey Allan into the game which isn’t a huge loss. Rabbitohs won by 16 last time h2h at home, probably a similar fate here.
