ANALYSIS ⬇️

Blues have surprisingly made seven changes for game two and in our opinion there’s only really one downgrade which is the loss of David Klemmer who’s out injured, but the inclusions of Tom Trbojevic, Blake Ferguson and James Maloney are huge for the blues.

The Maroons have made 3 changes, none more significant than the outing of Jai Arrow who’s injured. The Maroons don’t appear to be fully fit. Dane Gagai was in bed the first few days of the week with a virus but joined the team for training on Thursday and should be fine tonight. Dylan Napa has moved from the bench into the starting side, but has a broken wrist so this is clearly a huge risk. The skipper Matt Gillett suffered a broken nose in his last game for the Broncos but is still starting tonight, again this is a huge risk. Kalyn Ponga is also training with a calf that isn’t 100%.

Home field advantage is huge for origin and in the end it carried Queensland to victory in game one, but now in neutral territory there’s no advantage for them and we feel the Blues are a much stronger side. This Blues side is extremely quick, with the likes of Fergo, Tom Turbo, Addo-Carr, Tedesco and Cook and we we think this will be the difference. Unfortunately for Queensland their attack is nowhere near as good.
