Now is the time to sell high on the Ravens who come in off the back of that 41-7 demolition of the Texans last week.
We have discussed in recent weeks how impactful the arrival of Jalen Ramsey has been for this Rams defensive unit, they’ve allowed an average of just 11 points per game in the last month, albeit against some less than stellar offensive units. This will be the biggest test for the Rams defence since adding Ramsey.
Schematically the Rams line up well against the Ravens. Aaron Donald may be the man in the NFL best equipped to slow down Lamar Jackson and this Rams defence is the #2 ranked rush defence in the league giving up just 3.3 yards per attempt. They have also been excellent against the pass, ranking 5th in the league, and one thing that will be important, particularly against this Raven side is their ability to limit their opponents open-field yards better than just about anyone else in the league. This should limit the impact of the big plays which are integral to the Ravens offence.
With new-found health at WR and in their offensive line, we should see a more fluid offensive performance from the Rams here on MNF.
