These teams come in off the back of 38-35 and 48-46 losses respectively as they prepare for a Monday Night Football game in the Superdome. Jimmy Garoppolo had 5 passing TDs last week and we should expect another pass defence game plan from the Colts against this Saints D, especially with Davenport and Rankins out for the season, which should allow Brissett more time in the pocket. TY Hilton is active tonight as his return will be a big boost for the Colts.
With the Saints having allowed 2+ passing TD in 5 straight games, and allowing 74% of their touchdowns on the season through the air, this well schemed Colts offence should have success in the red zone.
The Saints have scored at least 26 points in their last 4 games and in 6/7, so at home, in the dome, against this Colts defence they should have no issues putting up points. Particularly in light of the 49ers loss yesterday, this is a big game for the Saints who join the Packers, Seahawks and 49ers at 11-3 for the best record in the NFC.
