ANALYSIS:
Sydney Roosters vs Newcastle Knights
James Tedesco and Boyd Cordner return to the side after being rested last week. Joseph Manu moves from fullback to the centres while Brett Morris goes to the bench. Jake Friend has been named to start with Victor Radley wearing the 13 jersey and Isaac Liu coming off the bench. This is the best 17 the Roosters have sent out all season and comes at a time most clubs will be trying to make their run towards September. Trent Robinson knows what he’s doing and will have the Roosters peaking at the right time. In the same position as this time last year, there’s no reason to panic despite the poor run of results over the last two months.
Canberra Raiders vs West Tigers
Raiders are the second best defensive team in the comp keeping teams below 15 points on average. Unfortunately for the Tigers they’re the 5th worst attacking team and points won’t come easily today. The Raiders are playing for second spot on the ladder so we expect their full effort today and should run over the Tigers easily enough.
