Parramatta Eels vs Canterbury Bulldogs
Eels go into this game as huge favourites, it’s a top 4 side playing off against a bottom 4 side. Really struggling to see the bulldogs scoring enough in this one and the Eels are capable of putting up 30 points. Eels were 9-2 at BankWest stadium last year and will want to make a statement here to start the year.
Newcastle knights vs New Zealand Warriors
Knights come into this season fully fit and higher expectations of themselves, while we think the warriors will probably win the spoon. The Warriors team look awful at this stage and their best player Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is out for this match so it could get rather ugly for the Warriors.
