Day 6 – Bet 1
Nadal v Carreno-Busta
Nada couldn’t have generated any more break points than he did last match, absolutely dominating his return games and not facing a single break point. Carreno-Busta has had a very easy first two rounds to get here and Nadal is just too much of a step up. His serve will be tested and Nadal won’t go away until he breaks.
Isner v Wawrinka
Isner has had the upper hand in their h2h, although Isner is definitely not what he used to be. Relying 100% on his serve these days he will need to find tie breaks to take sets. Wawrinka has learnt very well in the last few years how to play the big servers, and should definitely be able to get a set. This looks like there could be a tie break galore. Wawrinka still very strong on serve and both should get a good look here.
?Nadal 3-0
?Isner/Wawrinka O3.5 Sets
?Double @2.05 – 6 units (Tab)
Day 6 – Bet 2
Monfils v Gulbis
Monfils has been travelling under the radar this year, really getting back to where he was pre injury, and looking to continue his good run of form. Monfils leads the h2h 3-0 only dropping 1 set to Gulbis. Gulbis went back to the challengers last year and still couldn’t string together win without having 3-4 losses in between. 2020 he has come out with some wins and looks more competitive, but the matchup on Monfils will be his first real contest of the Aus Open. Monfils in 3 or 4.
Kyrgios v Khachanov
Kyrgios has been clinical all year, has his head switched on and is here to win. That mindset is what everyone’s been looking for in him for a long time, and it’s quite a deadly place to be against him when he’s focused. Khachanov has been average in the Aus Open going to 4 and 5 sets to two below par players. Struggling to hold serve in those two matches will make for a very difficult match against Kyrgios. If he drops serve Kyrgios will see nothing but a green light to serve out the set. Khachanov might be able to get a set, in what will be a great match, but over 5 Kyrgios is by far the better player here.
?Monfils Win
?Kyrgios Win

Day 6 – Bet 3
Fritz v Thiem
Fritz has beaten Thiem 3-1 at the US Open in 2017 and 2018, which is a huge feat for him against a top player like Thiem. Known for his clay court capabilities he’s improved on hard courts a lot over 2019. Both players went to 5 sets in their second round matches, and it could possibly happen again today. Fritz serving really well and attacking hard on return. Definitely will cause Thiem some problems, and Thiem is way too good not to get a set or two here. Overs.
Verdasco v Zverev
Zverev started 2020 off with a shockingly bad week, before overcoming that and winning in straight in his first two matches here. Not looking too much better but getting the job done, he’s definitely vulnerable to drop a set or two against the veteran here. Verdasco loves the Australian Open and definitely won’t go down easily. This could be a 5 set thriller.
?Fritz/Thiem O3.5 Sets
?Verdasco/Zverev O3.5 Sets
?Double @2.52 – 7 units (Tab)
Day 6 – Bet 4
Pavlyuchenkova v Pliskova
Pliskova holds a 6-0 h2h record against Pavlyuchenkova and it doesn’t look to be going any other way. Pliskova is 100% so far in 2020 and playing incredibly. Such a dominant player and with Serena out of the draw, definitely looks like a chance to take out the Title if she can get pass Barty. Very surprised we get her for 1.30 here. Very good form and very strong head to head.
Diyas v Bertens
Bertens has had a very good last 2 years, racking up 5 titles and becoming the world no 4. Diyas is through to a 3rd round in a Slam for the first time in 3 years, and this time around not looking like she can progress. Bertens plays the back court very well, strong powerful forehands and a very controlled precise backhand. Diyas struggles going corner to corner and Bertens can really push her today. Diyas has scraped through both matches in 3 sets and Bertens has cruised through in straight. Bertens the much better player is too good to ignore.
?Pliskova Win
?Bertens Win
?Double @1.95 – 6 units (Bet365)
Day 6 – Bet 5
Isner v Wawrinka
These two always have long sets, both will struggle to generate break points, first set tie break should be money here. Tie breaks almost every set.
