Verdasco not playing very convincing tennis right now. The start of 2020 was the first time he had back to back wins in a long time, before that ended quickly losing to Moutet in 3. The veteran can certainly play some good tennis, but just isn’t maintaining the consistency over the last two years. Basilashvili has made a good push up the rankings but also isn’t playing the best he could. He has good experience at the Australian Open making the third round in 2018 and 2019. This matchup is very even and I’m not sure Verdasco should be as low as $1.60 here. Possibly a coin flip and can’t see it going in straight. 1-1 h2h matchup and both matches were very even. Overs.
Medvedev rolled over Tiafoe, yes dropping a set but Tiafoe is no slump. Medvedev ended up winning easily by 7 games in that matchup and now is up against a much weaker opponent. Medvedev definitely is in the form of his life, huge serve and his return game is starting to mould into the likes of Djokovic/Nadal. Martinez is not a strong player and won’t pose a threat on serve. This will be over pretty quickly.

Popyrin showed some very good signs cruising through Tsonga. He did end up pulling out but I’m still not sure what was wrong with him. Popyrin outplayed him and beat him on every part of the court. He’s developing a very good serve and has a wicked forehand. Munar though definitely isn’t an easy opponent for him. Poses a bit of a threat if Popyrin loses focus for just a minute. Very close match up and I don’t like the $1.40 for Popyrin here, but I do like him to have the stick over a best of 5. Win + Overs looks to be nice value and the Aussie should get it done with the crowd behind him.

Khachanov has had a great start to 2020, ending the ATP Cup 4-1 after going down to Lajovic in a close 7-5 7-6 match. Ymer looks to have got 2020 off to a flyer, but unfortunately only playing very low ranked players in the Challengers. He’s already played 8 matches this year, and not being used to playing the longer matches, over a best of 5 against a top 20 player, Khachanov possesses too much power and is by far the better player here. I would possibly expect 1.37 for him over a best of 3, but over a best of 5 he should be below 1.25. Khachanov could take it in straight here.
Kyrgios is playing incredibly!!! In career best form by far. Hasn’t showed any sign of stupid antics over the last few months and is super focused on winning matches. His serve is possibly the best on tour, and my god the shots he pulls off is incredible. Simon doesn’t have any threat of a serve, and I don’t think he will have a fun day returning Nicks big serves. Handicap isn’t always a good time with Nick because he loves to just hold serve and win his tie breaks as he has a very high tie break win %. But a h2h winner over a best of 5 is a very good play today.

Last match of the night, looks to be an easy one under the lights for Rafa. Delbonis definitely has struggled against him and really hasn’t found a way to win many games. Nadal last beating him 6-1 6-2, not even breaking out a sweat. He’s been tough to win points on and Delbonis has no serve whatsoever. Nadal will be in every point and will struggle to hold any serve here. Domination for Rafa.
