Day 1

$100 – $1,000 Challenge

MULTI

?Millman/Humbert – OVER 3.5 sets

?Djokovic 3-0

?Double @2.04 (Beteasy – use odd boost – tab next best)

10 units

Level Bet 1 – $100

Millman showed up nicely with a few wins in Auckland before going down to Paire in a 3 setter. Taking out Khachanov on the way would’ve been a huge confidence booster. Humbert in form and making a name for himself on the main draw. Has a very nice serve and a strong forehand game. Over 5 sets this matchup is pretty even and with how strong Millman has been I can’t see a 3 setter here.

?Opelka/Fognini – OVER 3.5 sets

?Pella Win

?Double @1.78 – 7 units (Tab)

Opelka at the moment is overshadowing Isner. A huge tall big server, AND Opelka can hit the ball after he’s served it! What a player… This big American can play, and with these courts expecting to be pretty fast he should be set for a great match with Fognini. Whilst Opelka has been firing down thunderbolts, and barely facing any break points, Fognini plays very well against the big servers. Not known for a big serve himself, but he has a very good return game, reads the serves well and gets them back into play. If Opelka misses a few first serves Fognini can really make something of it and cause some problems. With such an even matchup here, I can’t see either of them going in straight. This has to be a four setter at least. Their two only meetings both went overs. A 2-1 and a 3-1 in a slam. Trading blows, this could be a long match.

Pella playing pretty well in the ATP Cup, coming up against some tough opponents, defeating Cilic in straight before falling to Khachanov. JP Smith just isn’t a match at all. Pretty easy first rounder for Pella. The lefty has a good serve, but often struggles with errors from the pressure that his opponents create. JP Smith definitely won’t bring any pressure and it’s a pretty standard 1st rounded for Guido.

?Querrey/Coric – OVER 3.5 Sets

?Shapovalov Win

?Double @1.78 – 7 units (tab/beteasy)

Querrey and Coric have both been very out of form as of late. Coric winning about one match in his last 9 against very good opponents, and Querrey struggling through a couple of easier matches. Both not playing well can be a good indicator that overs is a good bet. Both finding some overs games and not getting the win in some unlucky contests, expect to see this reach four, possibly five sets. Querrey serves big but his strokes don’t back it up. Coric plays well all round but struggles with some errors and returning the big serve. Tough to pick a winner here, overs.

Shapovalov has been playing incredibly and just falling short of some good matches in the ATP Cup. His game has really progressed with a strong serve and very good shot making to back it up. His backhand is very strong and Fucsovics is just way out classed everywhere here. $1.14 respectively.
