NRL FUTURE BETS
TOP POINT SCORER:
Jamayne Isaako (Broncos) $4.50 (Neds)

This is really good value compared to the $3.5 being offered on SB. I think broncos can go at least one better than last season and finish top 4. Now with the new coach I see them playing a lot like how the bunnies did last year which basically means a lot more tries and I see Isaako scoring a fair few of them + kicking the conversions. His main threats are Mitchell (roosters) & Croker (raiders). I can’t see Croker scoring enough tries this season as I think raiders will drop off a lot, which means he also won’t have as many kicks to take. Mitchell will score a lot and really shouldn’t be far off… but $4.5 for what I think is a two-dog race is great value!
TEAM PERFORMANCE:
St George Dragons under 13.5 wins $1.95 (Beteasy)

Widdop doesn’t want to be a dragon and wanted to bail but got denied and now has to play fullback. Jack De Belin is also on trial which will effect team chemistry no doubt. I see them sitting around 10 wins, can’t see them going over 13 at all. Very solid bet, to make it better for us, I think they have a very tough fixture. This line is 12.5 on Neds and is only paying $1.72 on other bookies to go under 13.5 so this is clearly a great line with a great price.
Sydney Roosters over 15.5 wins $2.05 (Beteasy)

Last year was a crazy year for NRL, with the top 4 tied on 16 wins and then the 4 next teams tied in 15 wins… all 8 teams finishing 3 games clear of 9th. This year I think it’ll become a bit more normal, with the likes of the roosters winning closer to 20 games and being a clear leader come seasons end. Roosters in my mind are no doubt the best team in the comp leading into 2019 and should 100% improve on last season. They won 16 last year which covered this line, so they just need to win 2/3 games and we’re set.
Penrith Panthers Over 13.5 wins $2.10

I think now with Cleary back at the club coaching his son, they’ll both be aiming for a huge season which I think propels Penrith into the top 4. Might have a slow start due to Kikau being out and of course the tapes causing some damage, but I think after the first month when everyone is in the team and fit, they’ll be a huge threat.
BUILD A BET FUTURE:
Roosters top 4 & Dogs most Losses $6.50 (Beteasy)

As you already know, I think Roosters win the comp… but I think Dogs will finish bottom as well. I feel they don’t have the same fight as what they showed last year to win 8 games, I think they lose around 20 games in 2019 and that’ll be enough to have the most losses.
