Since Trading for Jimmy Butler, the Warriors are 19 wins and 2 losses when Steph Curry and Jimmy Butler play together. They are also unbeaten at 13-0 with their full-strength starting lineup!
All the warriors need to do is win 1 playoff series which they are in poll position to do, and their odds will plummet (there would be only 4 teams remaining after this time)
Steph Curry is a 4 time NBA Champ and is coming off a 50+ point game, he is putting up video game numbers. Draymond green is also a 4 time NBA Champ and is the favourite for this years defensive player of the year! On top of that they acquired Jimmy Butler in the trade period who is a 2-time NBA Finalist.
Since the Warriors traded in Jimmy butler, the warriors have come in from $31 into as low as $8 on some bookmakers! Jimmy butler lead a Miami heat team to the NBA finals twice from far worse positions and had little to no experience playing with him! With Butler teaming up with Steph Curry in the playoffs with all that experience makes the Warriors a major chance to make the finals, and the value on them is still huge!
The obvious danger is the OKC Thunder who are the hot favourite according to the bookies and we cannot see any other team making the finals from the western conference.
OKC have been great in the regular season, but they don’t possess the playoff experience that golden state does, they are still very young and not one of their players has ever been to the NBA finals!
OKCs odds shouldn’t change until right at the end and they would be the only team that could beat them, so we could assess hedge markets down the track if required.
