The Colts win out in each department against the Jags who are probably the worst team in the NFL coming into the season. Rivers has always done well against the Jags, completing 69.4% of his passes for 2,668 yards and 24 TDs with only 5 INTs. The Jags are starting 5 defensive rookies and will struggle to stop the run here, allowing Rivers and co a lot of options throwing the ball.
The Bills have the edge in every department against the Jets here. Especially look for Allen + Diggs to combine well in their first game together against a poor Jets secondary.
Las Vegas Raiders WIN

The newly renamed Raiders were a team that had an up and down season under Jon Gruden last year but with a fantastic core of youth they appear to be heading in the right direction as a team.
Whilst the Panthers weren’t renamed over the summer its a new Panthers as well – no more Rivera, Newton, Keuchly, Olsen or Bradberry as they enter a rebuilding phase of their own.
The Raiders should win the running battle and that will be the key in this contest.

These two sides played two cracking games last seasons with finals scores of 28-25 and 36-26. The Cardinals have added DeAndre Hopkins’ who will give the ever improving Kyler Murray another top quality target. Look for Hopkins to have a big game on his cardinals debut. The 49ers made the Super Bowl for a reason last year and should be able to poke some holes in the Cardinals defence just like last season.

The first game of the post-Tom Brady era gets underway as the Patriots take on the Dolphins. Will they be the same team – no, but they should still be good enough to get on top of the Dolphins here, although it should be a great affair.
Cam Newton takes the reigns for the Patriots and under Bill Belichick it will be exciting to see if the former MVP of the league can return to an elite level.
Look out for the Gilmore vs Parker matchup which went Parker’s way the last time these two met, but Gilmore the reigning defensive POTY will make adjustments and should win out this time.
