ANALYSIS:
With Matthew Stafford out, and now Jeff Driskel out with that hamstring injury, undrafted rookie QB David Blough will make his 1st NFL start on thanksgiving against the Bears. Things can’t get much worse for the Lions who come in having lost 7 of 8 and their season is now over. David Blough simply put is not ready to be a starter in the NFL. The Bears held the Lions to just 13 points with Driskel at QB and have been excellent defensively all season, allowed the 4th least ppg this season.
Aside from the obvious situation at QB for the Lions, they have had significant issues of defence since trading away Diggs to the Seahawks. In their 11 games this season; 6 with and 5 without Diggs we have seen the following stats by opposition QBs
WITH: 58.5% completion, 10 TD/3 INT, 89.5 QBR
WITHOUT: 62% completion, 12 TD / 1 INT, 106.1 QBR
Its also worth noting that the calibre of QB faced by the Lions was significantly higher during the games featuring Diggs as well. Trubisky had his highest QB rating of the season (131.0) in their week 10 meeting in which he threw 3 TDs. Whilst the Bears have had offence issues all year they should be able to have success once again against this terrible Lions defence. Don’t be surprised to see David Montogomery have a big game for the Bears here.

ANALYSIS:
With both teams looking set to run the ball heavily against the oppositions weakness its hard to see how we have such a big number on the over here. The Bills are 8-3 this season to the under and 2 of the 3 overs were against the Dolphins. This is their highest total of the season and with Allen seemingly having fixed his interception issue there shouldn’t be too many short field opportunities arising from turnovers here.
Buffalo are only allowing 184 passing yards per game and they’ve held their opponents to less than 20 points in 8 of their 11 games this year.
This should be a close game with the Bills looking to impress in prime time.
