The SF 49ers have been incredible this season, with a 7-0 start. Offensively Jimmy G and co have been consistently able to move the ball down the field in an efficient manner, with some great +EV play calling from one of the best coaches in the league Kyle Shanahan. This has been supported by one of the best running games in the NFL. They have scored 31+ in 4/7 games this year with their other scores of 24, 20 and 9 (in the torrential rain).

They have also been incredible defensively, but this is being overlooked due to the fact that the Patriots have the best defensive performance arguably of all time through 8 games. However, SF are not far behind, ranking in the top 10 for DVOA through 7 games (since 1986). They have been extremely good on both of the ball and face a Cardinals side that continues to make strides with their rookie QB but will not be good enough against of the best sides in the NFL.

Green Bay are 7-1 and are with Aaron Rodgers clicking now in this new offence after a few slow weeks to start the season they head to LA where they face a mediocre Chargers side. The Chargers had lost 3 in a row before a last second missed FG bailed them out against the Bears on the weekend.

The Chargers have a lot of problems everywhere, but their O-line coupled with their running game is arguably the worst. This is a terrible O-line, worsened by injuries and consequently have not been establish any run game at all.

Ekeler: 72 rushes, 251 yards, 3.5 ypc

Gordon: 44 rushes, 112 yards, 2.5 ypc

Against a strong Green Bay defence the Chargers will struggle to score many points here

On the other side of the ball Rodgers has put up 31,42,23,34,27,27,21 in his last 7 games this year. Coming up against a below average Chargers defensive unit we should see another big performance here. It is also worth noting that Davante Adams has missed the last 4 games with turf toe, yet despite missing his #1 target, Rodgers and the Packers have continued to put up big scores. We should see him back this week, furthering strengthening this unit, but even without Adams the Packers should be able to easily overpower the Chargers here.

SF 49ers – George Kittle OVER 70.5 Receiving Yards

4 Units @$1.88

Kittle has been Jimmy G’s #1 target this year, with 40 receptions of 49 targets, putting up a ridiculous 462 yards at an average of 66 yards per game for a TE! Look for him to have a big game against this Cardinals defence
