ANALYSIS:
We were involved with both of these sides last weekend, with the Packers coming through against the Broncos with ease for a part of our level play whilst the Lions were a massive underdog winner against the Eagles.
A lot to love about this Green Bay side, the defence was once again excellent as they improved to 3-0, forcing 3 fumbles along the way. The offence picked up with Rodgers throwing for 235 yards at an average of 8.1, as they Packers put up 27. Although we saw the offence die off slightly in the second half. With another week under his belt, look for further improvement from Rodgers and this Green Bay offence.
Meanwhile the Eagles have significant issues on both sides of the ball, both with injury and their play. Drops are plaguing this Eagles offence and their defence simply isn’t good enough to make up for their lacklustre offensive performances. We liked the Lions last week and whilst the Eagles are slightly healthier this week they’re up against a fantastic Packers side who should get the win at home.
EARLY WEEKEND PLAYS
Cleveland Browns +7.0 vs Ravens

ANALYSIS:
We will be betting on a Browns game for the 4th straight week, going 2-1 so far with two easy winners in weeks 2 and 3. The Browns have struggled at times this season, and we have detailed both their strengths and weaknesses in relative detail in previous emails. Ultimately this is still a very good football team on both sides of the ball and were leading until the 4th quarter against the Rams.
This number is simply too big and we anticipate it will be bet down past the key numbers before the weekend so just like the Lions last week, want to snap it up at great value at +7.
We are anticipating a tight affair, and it could go either way, likely by within a touchdown, making this play great value.

ANALYSIS:
If you woke up Monday morning and saw the score of the Steelers vs 49ers game and thought, the Steelers lost 24-20 and were leading until late in the 4th so they must have played well with Rudolph starting at QB, that would be a very reasonable 1st impression.
However delve a little and it was one-way traffic for the 49ers and a statistical anomaly that it was even close. The 49ers turnover the ball over FIVE times! Since 2001 there had been 302 games were a team committed 5+ turnovers, and only 17 of those times had that side come out on top, just 5% of the time! The other numbers are equally as bleek, 239 total yards at 4.7 yards per play, just 11 1st downs on 13 drives, and only 1 red zone trip which wasn’t converted.
Whilst it may have been close against the 49ers there should be warning bells going off left, right and centre at Steelers HQ.
Meanwhile the Bengals suffered their second close loss of the season to a strong side, falling to a late TD from Frank Gore and the Bills. It was a slow start against a Bills side although there were plenty of encouraging factors to take out of that game for the Bengals. We think that this line will be bet down to 3.5 or even 3 prior to kickoff, and this could go either way, likely decided by a field goal.
