NFL TIPS 22/10
It’s been a poor couple weeks of NFL after a big challenge run, with 4 bets losing by a single point in the past week!
We could have easily have been on the other side of those, but that’s punting. Time to get back on the winners list!
New York Jets +10.5 (Ladbrokes)

These two sides met in week 3 when Falk was starting at QB for the Jets and they were absolutely anaemic putting up a measly 105 yards of offence and lost 30-14. Now the jets have Sam Darnold back who delivered them a win in his return against the Cowboys last week and now the Jets play host to the Patriots.
The Patriots are one of 2 undefeated teams left, but their injury report offensively goes from bad to worse, with Josh Gordon and 2 TEs being ruled out of their already paper thin receiving options.
The Patriots running game has struggled all season and in Week 3 Sony Michel managed just 11 yards on 9 carries and that was with Williams out injured for the Jets.
Defensively the Patriots have been phenomenal, and that is why they sit 6-0, which regardless of who you play in the NFL is nothing to take lightly. However the Patriots have played the 3 worst offences and 5 of the bottom 8 (with the final ranked 11th worst). This is the best offence that the Patriots have faced this year and with Darnold under centre there will be a legitimate passing threat (unlike in week 3) which means there will also be more room for Bell as well.
This should be a tighter affair than expected, and there are lots of encouraging signs for the Jets now they have their franchise QB back. In week 1 with Darnold the Jets blew a 16-3 4th quarter lead to the Bills to lose 17-16 and last week beat the Cowboys 24-22 in a game that isn’t as close as the final score line appears, thanks to two late Cowboys TDs. Both games with Darnold under centre have boded well for the Jets. With Siemian (*briefly) and Falk they suffered big losses to the Browns, Eagles and Patriots but defensively the Jets held up alright in these games when considering the excellent field position their opponents started with thanks to Falk’s ineptitude
