NFL GOD TIPS 21/10

Was an extremely unlucky last two days of NFL with 2 of our plays missing by half a point and the other 2 winning.

Let’s get on the right side of those wins!

SF 49ers -9.5 $1.90 (tab)

7 Units

Level 1 = $100

Jimmy G and co are flying, with a 5-0 start to the season. They come up against a Redskins team 30th in points allowed, and the worst at defending the rush. Expect the 49ers to utilise Coleman and Breida before utilising their big targets such as Kittle in the red zone against the team who ranks 30th in red zone scores.

On the opposite side of the ball this 49ers defence should be more than good enough particularly with their excellent pass rush to limit this Redskins offence which has managed just 25 points in their last 3 games (of which 16 came against the abysmal Dolphins).

Eagles +3

7 Units @$1.83 (Bet365)

3 straight losses for the Cowboys and the wheels are falling off for Garrett’s tenure at Dallas. Down 20-6 at halftime to the Jets that was the 3rd week in a row where the 1st half was completely lacklustre and just about put the game out of reach. Garrett’s fingerprints have returned  all over the Cowboys offence and we have lost the +EV playcalling we say from Kellen Moore’s offense early in the season.

Defensively, the Cowboys have serious issues as well. Their defence ranks 25th despite playing the 3rd easiest schedule of opposing offences, highlighting the depth of their defensive problems. Darnold last week put up 338 yards for the Jets on his return from Mono at 10.6 yards per attempt and we are predicting Wentz and co to have a big weekend against this terrible Cowboys defensive unit.

Saints +4

6 Units @$1.96 (Sportsbet)

The Saints remain one of the most underrated teams in the league and Teddy “Covers” Bridgewater continues to valiantly fill in for the injured Drew Brees, going 4-0 both in wins and ATS. Regardless of who starts and plays at QB for the Bears, whether its Trubisky or Daniel, the Bears offence continues to look anaemic and comes up against a very strong Saints defence. The Bears rank 27th in scoring and 30th in yards per game.

This Chicago defence remains elite despite a rough outing against the Raiders in London and should be able to make life difficult for Bridgewater and co. However as we have seen this last month, Sean Payton continues to scheme perfectly for Bridgewater and they should be able to make the most of the good field position their defence will get them. This should be a tight low scoring game (as indicated by the total of O/U 38).

We think the Saints have a good chance of winning outright but this game will likely be decided by a field goal or less either way

Seahawks / Ravens

Total OVER 47.5 $1.87 (Beteasy)

5 units

Both Teams To Score 25+

1 Unit @$4.40

This market has cashed in 5/6 of Seattles games (the only loss against the Cardinals who mustered just 10 points). The Ravens have scored 20+ in all of their games this season (59,23,28,25,26* [23 at the end of regulation],23) and their defensive struggles have been highlighted when playing decent to good opposition, even the Steelers 2nd/3rd string QBs where able to get 23 points on the board.

Offensively we have two electric QBs in Wilson and Jackson. A bit slow in week 1, but Wilson has played his way into early MVP favourite, with his unique ability to extend plays and drives and has made some incredible passes already this season. The Seahawks have put up between 27-32 points in their last 5 games and against this porous Ravens pass defence look set for another big score here. Jackson continues to improve and should be able to exploit the defensive issues Seattle continue to have who continue to give up big plays and a lot of points.
