There’s a lot to like about both these offences here tomorrow. Detroit come in after the bye and their 34-30 loss against the Chiefs , where Johnson put up 125 yards rushing and now faces the worse rush D in the league with the Packers giving up 5.2 yards per carry. Matthew Stafford has been superb this season and is looking to build on that here as the Lions look for another big offensive week, having put up 30 and 27 in their last two outings.
The Packers have put up scores of 21, 27, 27 and 34 after a slow start in R1 against the Bears. Aaron Rodgers appears to be finally hitting his stride and Aaron Jones will be looking to continue being a dominant part of this new Green Bay offence after 107 rushing and 75 rec yards last week which saw him score 4 TDs.
Both defences also rank in the bottom half in yards allowed per game (Detroit 27th at 405.5 and Green Bay 22nd at 376.8 ). This is partly due to the fact both continue to give up big plays in the passing game – something these two elite QBs will threaten to do so again tomorrow
It’s hard to see neither side finishing less than 15 points here, and most likely will each see 20+ for each side in a game we predict to finish over the total of 46.
