McVey is one of the premier coaches in the NFL, and this is particularly noticeable when he has extra time to prepare than his opponent. In such games the Rams are 10-0 SU and 8-1-1 ATS.
The 49ers will be without both starting tackles and Kyle Jusczyk tonight, one of their most important players. This is schematically a big issue with the 49ers offence most effective when running a “21 personnel”. To make matters worse the Rams run defence is weakest on the outside (when Donald is avoided) but these injuries will effect the 49ers ability to exploit these weaker areas
Look for the Rams to improve defensively and their offence should have no problems in what is a nice spot for this LA team.
Steelers +6.5

Philip Rivers and the Chargers were dreadful last week against the Broncos, with Rivers struggling in particular, throwing two interceptions and managed a measles 4.4yards on 48 pass attempts – for one of the worst games of his career. The Chargers have injuries on both sides of the ball but their already beat-up offensive line took another hit with Pouncey out.
Pittsburg defence is very solid and should be able to keep the Chargers offence at bay. Hodges will start after Rudolph’s concussion last week and the drop off between the two should be minimal with the Steelers continuing to employ a conservative offence.
Bengals / Ravens – OVER 47.5 POINTS

Two of the worst defences in the NFL go head to head here. We’ve outlined the Ravens problems the past two weeks as we’ve successfully faded them against the Browns and Steelers. They’ve given up 96 points in their past three games and look set to give up a ton more against a Bengals side that aren’t quite as bad as their 0-5 record suggests, having led 3 games in the 4th including 2 at the 2 minute warning.
Lamar Jackson has struggled after torching the Dolphins in week 1 but after a string of tough defences we should see a slight resurgence here against a terrible Bengals defence.
Eagles +3.5

The Eagles have the #1 run defence in the league, meaning that the Vikings will be forced to turn to Kirk Cousins throwing the ball, which against a good Eagles pass rush will present problems.
On the other side of the ball this Eagles side, now getting healthy has been able to return to a “12 personnel” and utilise their two superstar Tight ends. Look for the Eagles to be aggressive on first downs against this Vikings defence which should open up the chance for Wentz to make big plays.
